We support the disabled in Siem Reap with repairs, distribution and follow-up of wheelchairs

Similar to our other Centres, Siem Reap's Disabled team carries out an array of activities for the handicapped including the:

• distribution and repair of wheelchairs
• monitoring and follow-up of handicapped
• repair of houses and building of wells
• provision of emergency food and farming equipment
• financial assistance where appropriate for income generating projects
• educational support to children of handicapped families

Interestingly, it is four landmine survivors-social workers who act as peer-counsellors to over 300 wheelchair users and another 430 families.
