Water is Life

JS is digging wells in order to provide safe water access wherever we can. Moreover, in areas where this is impossible, JS builds ponds in the villages for the storage of rainwater through the Food-For-Work program, providing water regulation for the rice fields and a clean drinking water resource for the villagers.

In areas where people depend on rainfall as their only water resource, these ponds are crucial for the overall well-being of entire village populations.
