Medical Care

With the lack of professional medical care throughout the countryside, villagers often rely on traditional Khmer treatment, which means they make Buddha offerings and pray for recovery. In cases where sheer belief does not provide relief, JS takes the sick villagers to urban hospitals for free medical treatment, covering all the costs from medication to surgery.

This Health Assistance launched in 1999, also includes hearing aid for the villagers. People with hearing problems are brought to the Hearing Aid Center in Phnom Penh for special treatment and are provided with the necessary ear-moulds.
