Battambang

Cambodia's second-largest city, Battambang is located in the northern-west part of the country, and the city is considered an elegant riverside town. Our work at Battambang began by assisting displaced returned refugees back in 1996. With this area now free from war, our efforts today are directed towards the development and growth of many new villages. We service these villages through a range of community development, education, disabled, health and women's and children's services.

Some of the recent building work includes: a small training centre for young women, village schools, literacy learning centres, a clinic, bridges, well and roads.

Alongside these projects comes the financial assistance to the people in the villages. Assistance is given to teachers, nurses, vulnerable families, elderly and the handicapped.
