Telling
stories at villages
Every Tuesday one of our writers goes to the
village and tells all the stories to the children. This helps the children who
can't read well to understand the stories. After telling the stories we ask them
questions which are related to the story and we notice that most of the children
can answer. Children can get new ideas from the books to share what they have
listened with others Just to see the faces of the children when they were able
to understand the stories.
Now we have been to many schools of JS. We have
been to Prey Pdeak, Kompongkrasang , Kamchattpray, Tmar Keo, Sdouk Pranout, Tapich
, Ra, Khleang , and Chroy Rusey. by Seap
Books
show
On 9 and 10 June 2006 there was an exhibition
at Cheanla center. A lot of NGOs exhibited things that they produce and demonstrated
news and information for what they have done in the year. In the exhibition our
18 story books were shown. Many students came and read our books and they liked
them very much.
OUR BOOKS
e have many children who want to read and there are not so many books for children to enjoy.
So we asked two young Cambodia women graduates to see if they could write stories that appeal to children.
We think they have done a great job on the 12 books already printed. The children from our schools and mobile libraries love the books. Most of these books distribute to villages that are working our projects, A special one is, a author Seap is going to rural for telling story.
