Cambodia and Landmines

After the civilian war 30 years was finished. Many Mines and UXOs are leave on the ground through out of the Northwest province in Cambodia, which make a serious issue to Cambodian people to lives and agriculture land. Cambodia facts serious mines/uxos: people continue to injure, agriculture landmine, livelihood landmines, issue of landlord was demined land, community affected by mines. The Cambodian Campaign to Ban Landmines (CCBL), a part of International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), is continues to respond to the situation left by these debris of war.

Cambodia Campaign raise the landmines issue and release for free the world from landmines.

In September 2003, Cambodian landmines survivors and Campaigner team launching of Landmine Monitor 2003 and 13 Cambodian traveled to be advocated in Thailand on 5 States Parties Meeting. The stories from landmine survivors Yan Lay, Nham Eurm and Duch Sophat was release in that meeting.
