In November the  meeting of governments who are States Parties to the Treaty will be held in Laos !
The countdown in Cambodia began with the hanging of a banner in Phnom Penh   for the 100 days .
On  the birth and enlightenment day of Buddha , 95 days from the treaty's entry into force a sinternational law
banners and campaigners  converged on Angkor Wat and Bayon Temples along with devout Buddhists fro 12 different countries.
four men injured by explosive remnants of war built a plane with cluster bombs and bomblets to remember the
suffering these weapons have  caused and to celebrate the ban and the hope for assistance for the survivors.
The campaigners will also attend the Royal Ploughing ceremony on the Elephant Walk of Angkor Wat on  day 91 of countdown.

From day 90 to day 50 campaigners will visit   survivors in the field and organise a reflection day for women survivors
so they can share their stories aand encourage one another to live with hope and joy..

On Day 50 they hope to have a surprise action! Watch this space !
